About ProcurementExpress

ProcurementExpress helps organizations take control of purchasing through simple approval workflows, stronger financial controls and complete audit trails.

We are growing rapidly within the nonprofit, government and federally funded sectors, helping finance teams, grant managers and auditors improve compliance while making procurement easier.

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Education & Community to become the trusted voice of ProcurementExpress—building an engaged community, educating our market, and establishing us as the leading thought leader in grant compliance, procurement best practices and financial controls.

The Role

This is a strategic, customer-facing role combining education, community building, content creation and industry engagement.

You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Product to educate our audience, strengthen customer relationships and build ProcurementExpress's reputation as the go-to resource for grants and procurement best practices.

If you enjoy teaching, interviewing people, building communities and creating engaging educational content, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact.

What You Will Own

Education Strategy

  • Develop and own ProcurementExpress's education strategy.
  • Plan and deliver regular Lunch & Learn sessions, webinars and educational workshops.
  • Build learning paths for customers and prospects.
  • Translate complex procurement and compliance topics into practical, engaging content.

Community Building

  • Grow and nurture ProcurementExpress's community of grant managers, finance leaders, auditors and nonprofit professionals.
  • Build relationships with customers, partners and industry influencers.
  • Create opportunities for peer learning and networking.
  • Develop customer advocacy and ambassador programmes.

Content Leadership

  • Become one of ProcurementExpress's public thought leaders.
  • Create educational content including webinars, articles, guides, videos, podcasts and customer stories.
  • Interview customers and industry experts to share best practices.
  • Work with Marketing to develop campaigns and educational resources that drive awareness and engagement.

Industry Relationships

  • Represent ProcurementExpress at conferences, industry events and partner programmes.
  • Build relationships with associations, consultants, auditors and technology partners.
  • Identify speaking opportunities that increase company visibility.

Sales Enablement

  • Support Sales by educating prospects rather than selling directly.
  • Participate in customer calls where educational expertise adds value.
  • Help prospects understand procurement best practices and compliance challenges.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay current on trends in grants management, procurement, nonprofit finance and compliance.
  • Gather customer insights and share them with Product, Marketing and Leadership.
  • Help shape future educational topics based on market needs.

Success Looks Like

  • A thriving community that regularly engages with ProcurementExpress.
  • Highly attended webinars and Lunch & Learn sessions.
  • Educational content that becomes a trusted industry resource.
  • Strong relationships with customers, partners and industry influencers.
  • Increased brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Valuable market insights influencing product and marketing decisions.

About You

We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys connecting with people and is passionate about helping others learn.

You will likely have experience in education, training, customer success, community management, consulting, finance, procurement, grants or nonprofit operations.

Most importantly, you are an excellent communicator who enjoys simplifying complex topics and building relationships.

You Will Have

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • A strategic mindset with strong execution skills.
  • Confidence working across multiple teams and projects.
  • Comfortable becoming the face and voice of ProcurementExpress's educational content. You will host webinars, record podcasts, interview customers and partners, and create video content. You do not need previous podcast or broadcasting experience—we will provide support—but you should enjoy engaging with people and be confident communicating on camera.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Experience creating educational or customer-facing content.
  • Experience working with nonprofits, grants or government-funded organisations.
  • Procurement or finance knowledge.
  • Experience speaking at conferences or events.
  • Community-building experience.

  • Podcast and video recording tools.
  • AI content creation tools.
  • Presentation software.

Why Join ProcurementExpress

This is an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.

You will become a recognised voice in an important industry, shape how thousands of organisations learn about procurement and compliance, and help build one of the fastest-growing communities in the nonprofit and grants space.

If you love educating, connecting people, creating content and making a real impact, we would love to hear from you.
